As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas.
Assist with food handling, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
Skills
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
Familiarity with food handling and food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
