Busy pet boarding facility requires committed, reliable individual for part time work. The position requires availability for both daytime (8-4) and evening (4-8) shifts.
Saturday availability is a must,
as that's the key shift we're aiming to fill starting October.Beyond that, the number of hours offered is flexible, and we're happy to work with you to create a schedule that fits your availability.
Ability to cover time off requests and absences an asset.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable and prepared to work in all types of weather including rain, snow, heat and cold.
Qualifications:
Attendance is very important as we are a small group Self-motivated Excellent communication skills Strong ability to prioritize and multitask Reliable transportation - We are not on a bus route Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Preferred:
Pet first aid certification Experience working in pet care field Preference given to demonstrated experience with animals
Responsibilities:
Feeding all pets, and administering medications as required Supervising dogs including monitoring all for behavioral concerns, general adjustment to social environment Making quick decisions regarding the well being of all canine Safe fecal cleanup - "poop scooping"! Cleaning floors, crates, doing laundry, and other cleaning as required

Pay is dependent on previous experience.
