Part Time Kennel Attendant
Job Description
Sanitizing dog kennels and kennel areas . Keeping outdoor areas free of waste, weeds, litter and picked up after dogs have been out.
Sanitizing cat enclosures, changing / scooping litter. Sanitizing all cleaning and animal care equipment after use.
Feeding pets. picking up and sanitizing pet dishes.
Keeping all indoor areas sanitary and tidy, following all biosecurity and sanitation protocols.
Follow all pet handling and care protocols. Monitor pets physical and behavioral status. Entering all daily observations in shelter software. Other general cleaning duties.
Work performed requires lifting, bending, stooping, pushing and other strenuous activities including but not limited to lifts and transfers of large animals.
Part of the job is representing the shelter through good phone and customer service skills.
