1. Provide customer service to customers, by assisting customers, and providing information and product knowledge, which is maintained through being dependable for all scheduled shifts.
2. To perform interior/exterior housekeeping duties.
3. Assist in ordering, receiving, and displaying of product as set by the guidelines of C-Store Manager when Clerk II is absent.
4. To perform opening and closing procedures as directed by manager.
5. Responsible for maintaining C-Store price files.
6. Dispense gasolines, diesel fuel and propane.
7. To clean, fill and maintain all machines, example: slush, hot dog, coffee, etc.
8. Responsible for providing a neat, clean and well merchandised front end at all times.
9. Operate point of sale terminal.
10. To operate and maintain equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
11. To be responsible in the area of loss prevention.
12. To assist in daily environmental checks when Clerk II is absent.
13. To be familiar with and adhere to Southland Co-op policies and procedures.
Requirements
Able to work a variety of shifts.
Strong computer skills.
A pleasant and out-going personality.
A desire and ability to work with the public.
Physically able to do heavy lifting.
Able to work outdoors.
Successfully pass pre-employment testing as per Southland's Alcohol & Substance Policy
