Job Description

Part time evening supervisor required for a janitorial cleaning company. 3 evenings a week with a start time of 4:00. 6-7 hours per night. Must Have valid drivers license.
Wage starting at $17.00 per hour with a review after 3 months. Could possibly turn into a full time position in the future, therefore only apply if you are able to commit.
Extra evenings added throughout the week is possible, this is a 5 evening a week position and we are hoping to eventually get there now that things are turning around.
You will need your own transportation to get to and from work, but will be provided a work vehicle to perform your duties throughout the night.
Supervisory experience an asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Train new hires on job requirements and employment expectations, which includes cleaning safety, personal and professional conduct.
• Maintain daily log.
• Manage work projects and assign crew/staff as required
• Manage performance of crew/staff on work assignments. Provide feedback to address opportunities/improve productivity.
• Monitor adherence to standards and policies set by ServiceMaster, including, but not limited to, timely attendance of work assignments, dress code and personal appearance of staff.
• Deliver supplies to the buildings as needed

General

• Establish a positive rapport with the clients when possible
• Provide an exceptional level of service that exceeds the expectation of the client
• Conduct all work in accordance with company safety policies
• Perform other duties as may be required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to manage people and drive performance of staff in a positive way
• Ability to engage in conversation with people to meet the needs and expectation of the clients
• Must have a clean driving record
• Full G license
• Communicate in English both written and verbally
• Strong attention to detail
• Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
• Works well independently
• Have a criminal record check
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work effectively in a variety of settings
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial

WORKING CONDITIONS

There is a low risk of exposure to adverse working conditions. However, at this time with the COVID 19 Pandemic extra cleaning precautions are taken and required.
