Part Time Early Childhood Educator

Job Description
We are looking for a part time ECE our day care program.
The scheduled hours will be Monday to Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Director and/or Assistant Director;
- Ensuring the safety of the children at all times;
- Planning and implementing the weekly programming for your classroom in accordance with the Learning Through Play philosophy;
- Supervising and promoting activities designed to promote the healthy emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of each child enrolled at the centre;
- Ensuring all Alberta Licensing Standards are maintained at all times;
- Participating in ongoing training programs, conferences, workshops to ensure continued professional growth and knowledge of early child care practices;
- Developing a positive relationship with children and parents;
- Communicating with parents on a formal and informal basis regarding their child's growth, progress and development;
Qualifications:
- Criminal record check (with vulnerable sector check);
- Early Childhood Worker or Supervisor certificate; and
- First aid certificate.
-Valid Alberta driver's licence and clean driving record (optional)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.64-$23.62 per hour
