Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate cleaning techniques. Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, countertops, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling guidelines. Help organize and restock kitchen supplies to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support overall food service operations and maintain a positive work environment. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation and handling practices is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen setting.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
