We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records using denturist software such as DOMx ( training provided)
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and patient check-in/check-out processes.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Familiar with denture procedures.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.
Preferred candidate who has experiences working with dental lab or denture clinic
