Job Description

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for weekly deliveries as well as issues that occur such as repair or assembly.

Shift begins at 11am and finishes at 6pm. The ideal candidate will need to be able to lift heavy furniture and use dolly's to complete deliveries individually. Our pieces are small and flat packed for ease of moving. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able to provide an exceptional customer experience as this is the last interaction with customer.

As part of the Small Space Plus team:

Prepare product for shipment, receiving, building pallet and wrapping

Lifting cases of product and/or stock merchandise

Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries

Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor

Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments, deliveries and products

Unload merchandise, lift, transport and stock boxes in its designated area.

Assemble, disassemble or wrap up merchandise on/from displays.

Provide an amazing customer experience during pickups and customer deliveries.

Ensure inventory accuracy as well as maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse

Effort & Working Conditions:

Physical Demands - significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.

Ability to carry/lift 70+ lbs.

Repetitive Action- Significant climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity is required.

Flexibility: Warehouse workers will be asked to work on weekends.

Use of the ladder to access upper level heights of the backroom.

Strong work ethic with a positive, energetic approach and attention to detail

Who we are looking for?

Resourcefulness and autonomous

1-2 years of previous stock experience in a retail service environment preferred.

Must have a G license

Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting

Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills

Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Detailed oriented

Proven strong collaboration spirit, enthusiasm, teamwork skills

Available Wednesday and Thursday.
