Daycare

Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for dogs in the daycare
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime and activities
- Plan and implement developmental appropriate mental and physical activities
- Assist with feedings, bathing, nail trims and overall care of all dogs
- Communicate with parents regarding their dogs progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment

-2 dog walks per shift

Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with dogs is preferred

A leader, someone who comes in prepared to work. Doesn't need constant guidance and being told to get daily routine completed. Can work independently and confidently. Leadership qualities

- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with owners and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and handle the demands of a busy daycare setting

Skills:
- Caregiving: Ability to provide care, support, and supervision to dogs in a daycare setting.
- Educate: Ability to plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for the group

Education: Knowledge of principles and practices related to reward based handling and training

must be able to stand entire shift. Work in a fast paced enviroment. Will be going on 2 (20min) walks per shift. Must be available weekends and evenings (1-7pm)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
