Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas. Utilize hand tools and power tools for cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed. Conduct commercial cleaning duties in various settings, ensuring all areas meet company standards. Manage custodial responsibilities such as restocking supplies and disposing of waste properly. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or maintenance needs. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks when required, including minor repairs and heavy lifting of equipment or materials. Implement time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently while ensuring thoroughness in cleaning duties.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to cleaning and maintenance. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and staff. Ability to clean effectively while paying attention to detail in all tasks performed. Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus, enhancing the overall upkeep of the premises. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Capability for heavy lifting as required by specific cleaning tasks or equipment handling. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and custodial procedures. Strong time management skills to ensure timely completion of cleaning assignments while maintaining quality standards.
