Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, to ensure efficient operations
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Manage daily kitchen activities, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
Develop menus in collaboration with management that reflect current trends and customer preferences
Train and mentor team members to foster a collaborative and professional work environment
Monitor food service operations to ensure timely delivery of orders and exceptional customer satisfaction
Maintain a positive team atmosphere while managing restaurant management duties effectively
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management
Supervising experience within a busy kitchen or hospitality environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and service excellence
