RAPS is Seeking a Part time caregiver to assist an individual with Cerebral Palsy (E13)

Location: Northwest Edmonton (Castle Downs)

Days: 3 days a week flexible with days

Hours: 10am-4pm Additional Weekend hours may be available*

: Duties include but are not limited to: Mechanical and manual transfers, Personal care ( toileting and changing adult briefs), patient nutrition and feeding assistance, developing and encouraging life skills, support and encouragement of continued learning, ROM exercises, supporting on outings (going to the mall, swimming, medical appointments etc..), light housekeeping pertaining to client care (including laundry), supervision and companionship.

Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate must have a clear criminal record check containing the vulnerable sector, experience working with people with disabilities specifically someone non-verbal, must be physically fit to lift 50lbs regularly and have the ability to respond to changing priorities.

Personal attributes for best suited client would be someone who is patient and self motivating.

Rate of Pay: $20.24 hour
