We are seeking a responsible and professional Bus Driver to safely transport clients to and from PARDS. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of customer service, and the ability to operate accessibility vehicles efficiently.
10 to 15 hours weekly, Monday to Thursday September to May
Requirements
PARDS Handi-Bus driver must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid Alberta Class 4 Driver permit.
Experience working with children, seniors, or individuals requiring special assistance is preferred
Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations
Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons as needed
Driver will provide a Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check (a form is provided), a 60-day grace period is provided to facilitate this. Compensation based on experience
The Driver is required to follow the Alberta Department of Transportation policies/guidelines regarding bus safety and the safe transportation of passengers, have current First aid w/ CPR certification
Driver will pick up PARDS Clients at a designated location and deliver them to PARDS Facility for their therapeutic lesson and, if required return them to the designated location at the end of the lesson.
