Our Tribe Management division specializes in strata and rental management services. We are responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of residential & mixed-use properties in our portfolio.
About the Role
Our client in the Williams Lake area is seeking a
part-time Building Manager
to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our residential units.Key Responsibilities
Perform all administrative duties involved in the operation of the building Show suites for rent, check credentials for prospective tenants and communicate with Property Manager to confirm successful candidates Collect, deposit and record of all rents Issue warning/breach letters to tenants when applicable, serve eviction notices to tenants when applicable Complete accurate detailed move in/out reports for each tenant Comply with regulations as contained in the Residential Tenancy Act Supervise contractors Prepare detailed incident reports related to accidents, altercations, damage to the property and/or other application incidents Issue purchase orders for all work/supplies being undertaken at the building
QualificationsExperience in building management, property maintenance, or a related field. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work. Familiarity with BC tenancy regulations is an asset.
