## Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and engaging
Part-Time Music Teacher
to join our small boys high school, located in the Bathurst and Lawrence area. This is a unique opportunity to inspire students and cultivate their musical talents in a structured but creative environment. We are looking for anengaging music class
that not only teaches fundamentals, but also includesproducing an album and exploring other creative ideas
that allow students to express themselves musically.Position Details:
## Availability
- Classes are Mon-Thurs 5:15pm - 6:45pm only. Sunday optional. An ideal part-time job for an active educator.
## Responsibilities
-Creativity and comfort in working without traditional instruments (digital/voice-based methods preferred)
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum
- Utilize various teaching methods to ensure all students understand the material
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
## Requirements -Strong classroom management skills
- Teaching and/or experience with high school age boys
- Ability to educate students, even with special education needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
- Subject proficiency
- Strong communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
