Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Wage range is based on minimum wage plus gratuities.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor and supplies. Utilize POS system for processing orders and managing transactions efficiently. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take drink orders, and make recommendations based on preferences. Handle payment transactions accurately. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe dining environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Demonstrate effective time management skills to manage busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.

Requirements

Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create memorable guest experiences. Knowledge of practices related to beverage preparation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour that fosters hospitality. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while providing outstanding service.
