Part Identification & Finishing Associate

to join our team in our Mississauga, Ontario facility. We are seeking individuals who are dedicated and committed to making Tube Fab Ltd. an industry leader.

Duties and responsibilities:

To identify and part mark aerospace tubular assemblies using a variety of machinery and tools, Ink part mark, Vibra-Peen, Etching tools, rubber stamps etc to identify, serialize print part numbers on Metal assemblies. To apply various identification and flow direction tapes and labels on to metal assemblies. To Polish and Surface Finish metal components and assemblies To visually inspect and ensure metal parts are free of marks, scratches, blemishes, visual imperfections. To Set Up and Operate equipment and tools that will polish, buff, deburr, smooth and end finish parts, Read and interpret specifications and follow work instructions in order to determine the required activity to ensure client requirements. To measure and inspect parts, and understand how to use the inspection tools and equipment. Reports to the Production Manager.

Our ideal candidate would have the following experience:

2 years experience in a manufacturing environment - Aircraft parts experience is preferable Must be confident in using tools and inspection equipment. Must have a good 'house keeping' sense and be able to organize work area and keep it clean. Must have good dexterity and good awareness when handling parts and equipment. Must be familiar with metal properties, production standards and methods. Strong communication and organizational skills are an asset Working in a quick turn around production environment Experience working in the aerospace industry would be asset

Educational and or credential requirements:

Training will be provided, however some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training is an asset
