Your Opportunity





The primary responsibilities of this position include:


Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight for the Parks Ambassador team, actively participating in guest service delivery. Responsible for training, scheduling, and performance management. Serve as a role model and mentor, guiding Ambassadors through pre-season preparation and on-the-job development. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure Ambassadors deliver professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service, enhancing the guest experience. Promote awareness of park events, policies, and procedures to enrich guest interactions. Collaborate with all departments to assist guests with inquiries, resolve concerns, and streamline operations. Help manage lineups, alleviate bottlenecks, and address complex challenges efficiently. Support the resolution of lift pass issues, including fraud-related concerns, in partnership with Lifts and Visitor Services teams. Identify and implement creative solutions to guest challenges. Promote cross-selling of services and offer alternative options when standard offerings are unavailable. Operate in a Fast-Paced Environment Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton's Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals. Other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications




Demonstrated success in leading customer service teams, with a focus on coaching, performance management, and team development. Minimum of 3 years' experience in parks, resorts, or similar outdoor recreational settings. Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Skilled in creative problem-solving and stakeholder engagement. Confident in making timely, informed decisions. Able to assess situations quickly and take appropriate action, escalating when necessary. Quick to learn and responsive to changing environments and guest needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and build positive working relationships. Capable of handling challenging situations calmly and professionally, maintaining a guest-first approach. Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, outdoor setting while maintaining high service standards. Ambassadors will be required to work during peak operational times including weekends, holidays, and some evenings. Ability to work flexible shifts with varying hours, depending on visitation levels. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on varied terrain. Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class "G", with a satisfactory Driver's Abstract is required. Abstract completed by Conservation Halton.
Successful candidates must provide own ski or snowboard equipment including a helmet for use during shifts. Ski or Snowboard Certification an asset Standard First Aid & CPR an asset CH parks are not accessible by public transit; candidates should ensure they have reliable transportation.
