Parking Lot Attendant - Eastern Health
Starting Wage: $14.75 Reporting to the Management Team, this position will rotate between 3 different parking lot sites and requires reliable personal transportation. The Parking Lot Attendant is committed to service delivery excellence. Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Assist customers in the use of automated parking equipment, recognizing and respecting the individual needs of each customer.
• Assist customers in person by taking payments for parking, answering questions, and providing directions.
• Completing minor equipment repairs as required, and minimizing any downtime to parking operation.
• Cleaning help desk and parking equipment frequently.
• Actively identify and report any issues with equipment to the supervisor.
• Patrol parking lots and issue notices for infractions as required.
• Setting up and taking down mobile signs.
• Build positive relationships with customers.
• Note the nature of complaints received by customers, and actively help develop and suggest solutions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and clients in English.
• Performs other duties as requested by the Management Team.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

• High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to work with a team.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Reliable personal transportation.
