We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to oversee the maintenance and general upkeep of our facilities. This role involves ensuring that the environment remains safe, clean, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, strong communication skills, and experience with maintaining a park. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive maintenance are essential.
Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure safety and functionality
Conduct general cleaning, repairs, and minor troubleshooting tasks across the premises
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance needs or safety concerns
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities
Ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times during operations
Experience
Mechanical knowledge or background in facility maintenance preferred
Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently and report issues promptly
Duties
A. In the roles of Park Caretaker, the following duties are required to be performed:
Complete maintenance of the grounds which includes the playground, camping, pool areas and water system
Supervision of Park Staff
Attend Park Board meetings
Park improvement and development which includes completing projects and assignments suggested and approved by the board
Efficient management of the office which includes answering phones, registering campers and managing money
Training staff in safety procedures of equipment
Submit a copy of a valid Class 5 driver's license, First Aid and CPR certificates and a Criminal Record Check (CRC)

Pay: $3,000.00-$4,500.00 per month
