Mature experienced furniture delivery driver/installer required immediately.

Park Lighting and Furniture is seeking an enthusiastic, customer service orientated individual to join our furniture warehouse team.

In the role of driver/installer, you will be reporting to the Warehouse Manager on a daily basis.

Successful candidates will be physically fit, reliable and demonstrate a commitment to exemplary customer service.

About the role:

As a driver/installer your responsibilities will include:

Locate product to be delivered either in the warehouse or on the showroom floor. Ensure product is free of defects prior to delivery. Diagnose and solve any issues with the product in coordination with sales staff and support personnel. Load product into appropriate vehicle in a secure manner utilizing cargo straps, moving blankets and dollies. Carry product into customer's home and build/install as required paying particular attention to customer satisfaction. Work various jobs in the Warehouse, when there are no scheduled deliveries.
Qualifications:

Delivery/installation experience is a strong asset. Basic familiarity with light hand tools. Valid driver's license (class 5 only is needed). Current Driver's Abstract. Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis. Customer service oriented. Excellent organization and communication skills.

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
