The Parish Coordinator is a position within the Invitation Department, directly reporting to the

Corpus Christi Engagement Manager, and is primarily responsible for engaging Catholic

parishes, conversing with priests and administrative staff and building relationships which

support our sponsorship program and enable parishioners to embrace Catholic Social Teachings

and live out the corporal works of mercy. Chalice operates in a computerized environment but

also relies heavily on telephone communication to ensure that both urban and remote parishes are

invited to participate in our mission. In keeping with Deus Caritas Est, "professional competence

is a primary, fundamental requirement" for this position, but the selected candidate also requires

formation of the heart which leads "to that encounter with God in Christ which awakens their

love and opens their spirits to others."
