Parenting Time Supervisor

Supervisor to observe and report on custody and parenting time visits with a non-custodial parent and child(ren) where there are concerns in regards to safety or the parents' abilities.

Description:

Staff member to observe and report on parenting time between parent and child(ren) where there are concerns in regards to safety or parent ability.

Flexible/part-time contracts - mostly evenings and weekends. Shifts range from 3 hours minimum up to 8 hours.

Parenting time takes place in-centre, in-home and/or in-community.

Staff member to act as neutral third party and take time-lined notes of the parenting time.

Qualifications/Skills:

Relevant University or College Degree/Diploma from a recognized institution (CYW/CYC, BSW or BA preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children and families. Valid Driver's license an asset. Vulnerable Person Police Check. Proven report writing skills a must. Work with families in high-conflict custody and access situations is an asset. Able to communicate in a second language is an asset
