HyTech Production Ltd. is seeking an

Parent Seed Facility Assistant

. This job requires manual labour, including moving bags and assisting in treating seed. You will help complete the seed processing tasks, manage inventory, and assist with shipping and logistics. This is a 5 month contract with the possibility of extension

.

Responsibilities

Accurate and timely record keeping and reporting Operation of small volume seed cleaning equipment Assisting with other seed processing activities (treating, bagging, palletizing, etc.) Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facility in general Inventory management and record keeping Loading and receiving shipments Sample collection as required Other duties as assigned Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Skills Required

Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid Class 5 Drivers license with clean driver's abstract is required Must be able to lift up to 25 kg Experience operating forklifts and forklift license an asset Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated Attention to detail is critical Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets: Working within a Quality Management System (ex: ISO)

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
