Voyago is hiring Part-Time drivers for our London Para Transit Division!

As a Para Transit Driver, you're the friendly face behind the wheel, making sure seniors and individuals with special needs can get to medical appointments, groceries, social outings, basically all the important stuff.

Your Role:

You are responsible for delivering exceptional door-to-door customer service You are required to provide proactive assistance to passengers in boarding vehicles, maneuvering wheelchairs, securing belts, lifting portable assistive devices, and offering necessary aid throughout the journey Additionally, providing WOW! Customer service to all passengers and assisting with information on fares, schedules, and stops is a crucial aspect of this role You are responsible for performing basic vehicle inspection to ensure the vehicle is in good working order at the start of your shift

Requirements

Your Profile:

You are a safe driver with a clean driving record You can obtain a clean criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening You are a professional driver with a class license of G, B, C or F You have excellent customer service skills You are patient, compassionate, and empathtic You are comfortable working around any type of service animal You are capable of working at a fast pace and keeping up with the physical demands of the role (Pushing, pulling, bending and twisting at a fast pace for 8 to 10 hours) You have intermediate to advanced verbal and written language skills (equivalent to B2 to C1 levels) You bring relevant experience from a similar role or have experience assisting individuals with disabilities You have a good understanding of London's streets and neighborhoods, with confident navigation skills You are comfortable working within a Union You are comfortable starting in a part time role, working 12 to 24 hours per week, with the option to pick up additional shifts when available

This opportunity is all about flexibility. Shifts typically fall within the following timeframes (these times are approximate):

Day shifts

typically begin at approximitly 6:00am, 7:00am or 8:00am working until 3:00pm, 4:00pm, or 5:00pm

Evening shifts

typically begin at approximitly 3:00pm, 4:00pm, or 5:00pm working until 10:00pm, 11:00pm, or 12:00am The para transit service runs 7 days a week including holidays
