Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Painting Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential, commercial, or industrial painting projects and be capable of delivering high-quality finishes on a variety of surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, sanding, or caulking as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the scope of work required. Rig and set up scaffolding or other equipment as needed for high or difficult-to-reach areas. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project timelines and expectations. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting, including commercial and industrial projects. Proficiency in using hand tools and painting equipment. Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics is preferred. Strong skills in caulking and surface preparation techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
