Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves performing various painting and labor tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction painting, blueprint reading, and using hand tools and power tools. Strong communication skills and time management are essential to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming as needed Apply paint, stain, or other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial settings Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute project specifications Operate rigging equipment and power tools safely for various tasks including scaffolding setup and surface preparation Assist with carpentry tasks such as framing or minor repairs when required Use hand tools effectively for detailed work and touch-ups Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards Provide excellent customer service by ensuring client satisfaction during project completion

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, or industrial painting environments Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment Strong knowledge of residential and commercial painting techniques Familiarity with caulking, surface preparation, and finishing techniques Basic carpentry skills for minor repairs or framing tasks Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client interactions Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during projects Ability to work safely around scaffolding, ladders, and industrial equipment

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
