Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, with the ability to work on various projects ranging from residential to commercial. This role requires proficiency in plastering techniques, as well as a solid understanding of blueprint reading and time management skills. The Plasterer will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, caulking, and repairing as necessary. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for plaster application. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and painters, to ensure cohesive project execution. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of projects. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and any necessary adjustments.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction, particularly in plastering or related fields such as restoration or painting. Strong skills in residential and commercial painting techniques. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Familiarity with rigging practices for safe material handling. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks. Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
