Responsibilities



Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming as needed Apply paint, stain, or coatings to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate application of paint and finishes Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during various tasks including rigging and carpentry work Assist with demolition, site cleanup, and material handling to support project progress Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality expectations Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address project needs or concerns

Experience



Prior experience in construction painting, residential or commercial painting preferred Knowledge of restoration processes and industrial painting techniques is a plus Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical instructions Ability to operate hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and caulking guns as well as power tools like drills and sanders Experience with carpentry or rigging is advantageous but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining safety protocols
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
