Position Summary

We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Drywall & Painting Technician to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate brings a versatile skill set, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and is looking to grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Perform minor insulation and drywall installation. Mudding, sanding, and finishing to a professional standard. Apply texture and perform blend repairs. Prime and paint interior and exterior surfaces. Install wallpaper with precision and care. Conduct light carpentry work as required. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients. Follow safety protocols and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in drywall, painting, or related trades preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to transport tools and basic materials. Strong attention to detail and finish quality. Able to work independently or collaboratively. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Comfortable using power tools and hand tools safely. Basic English communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly wage: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour (based on experience and skill set) Hours: 30-50 hours/week Opportunities for performance-based bonuses Overtime pay as applicable Guaranteed hours possible after Probation

Schedule

Monday to Friday, standard 8-hour shifts Occasional overtime and weekend work Stat holidays may be scheduled depending on project needs

Work Location

On-site at various job locations across the Victoria region Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
