Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes in various settings. The Painter will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues as necessary. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Drive to various job sites as required.

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting is essential. Strong driving skills with a valid driving licence. Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:

Commercial painting: 2 years (preferred) Residential painting: 2 years (preferred)
