Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting projects, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our standards of excellence. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the scope of work required. Restore surfaces by repairing drywall and performing minor carpentry tasks as needed. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including hand tools and rigs. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met efficiently. Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

Skills

Proficient in caulking and drywall repair techniques. Experience in residential painting with a focus on quality finishes. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Familiarity with hand tools and rigging equipment used in painting tasks. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. A background in carpentry is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
