Job Description

The Painter is responsible for first class workmanship in the preparation of metal materials and the application of high-quality lasting finishes on Badger manufactured products.

The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.



RESPONSIBILITES

What You'll Be Doing:

Application of paint to Badger manufactured products (e.g. Hydrovac equipment). Follows quality control process by completing inspections for any flaws in between application of coats. Conducts preventative maintenance of paint spray equipment and daily inspections of work equipment. Prepares metal components to be painted and ensures the proper disposal of leftover materials as per legislative requirements. Trains and guides employees in the operation, cleaning, and maintenance of painting tools and equipment as well as the mixing and application of primers and high-performance coatings to metal surfaces, fabricated parts, assemblies, and structures to obtain desired color and consistency.

QUALIFICATIONS

What You'll Need For Success:

Education high school diploma or GED. Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience as a manufacturing spray painter required. Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies more than 25 pounds. Must be able to distinguish colors. Sandblaster experience preferred. Must be eligible to work in Canada
