Responsibilities:

When your actions lead to success:

Prepare painting for part surfaces by masking and repairing holes Apply paints and other finishes to various surfaces using low pressure spray guns Handle planning and preparation work in an efficient manner Clean up equipment and supplies when project is complete Ensure full compliance with all personal protective equipment Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be detail-oriented Experience with using water and solvent based paints "Get it done", hands-on approach and attitude Frequent job changeovers Able to pivot to assembly of materials on workbenches One to three to of experience in painting using spray guns One to three years of experience in a decor, acrylics or signage manufacturing environment is a bonus Comfortable operating machine tools, pneumatic nail guns and measuring equipment, where required Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow work instruction details A strength for problem solving and working with tight deadlines Ability to work safely, identify hazards and follow safety procedures (including respirator usage)
