- 2 years or more of work experience painting in residential or commercial projects regularly (OR, 6 months or more of real Canadian painting work experience working with a professional painting company and performing painting tasks on a daily basis)

- Proficient in using ladders for interior and exterior projects. Can cut in sharp lines by brush, painting with rollers and patching minor nail holes and wall scuffs on drywall
#3: Driver's Licence
- A valid driver's licence and your own vehicle to travel to and from our job sites

PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE!
- Your rate of pay will be determined based on previous painting experience and your performance during the probationary period
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1) PAINTER JOB TASKS - Performing painting-related job tasks on a daily basis (moving furniture, protecting surfaces not being painted, preparing surfaces prior to painting, cutting in with a brush, rolling paint onto surfaces and using ladders)
2) PREPARATION - Prepare surfaces prior to painting by moving furniture, protecting areas not being painted with plastic, sanding, scraping, filling holes or joints, sanding, priming and pressure washing (exterior projects)
3) CLEAN UP - Clean up the job site, including removing paint splatter, cleaning debris, maintaining tools and equipment, organizing tools and equipment in work vans
4) TAKE A LEAD ON MEETING OBJECTIVES - Help the painting crew in meeting and exceeding objectives of completing interior and exterior, residential and commercial painting projects with quality, exemplary client service and in an efficient manner
5) LIAISON BETWEEN MANAGEMENT & CLIENT - Develop positive relationships with our clients by understand the scope of work, answering client questions, communicating our processes to clients and updating your team leader or management with progress.
6) OTHER - Perform other project related duties as assigned
