Job Summary:

Our Client is seeking skilled

Painters (2)

to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for finishing custom and cabinet doors, ensuring high-quality standards in staining, painting, and finishing processes. This role requires precision, efficiency, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications and production schedules.

Responsibilities:

Prepare cabinet doors and other wooden surfaces for painting and finishing by sanding, priming, and sealing. Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes according to project requirements. Apply paints, stains, and lacquers using

Kremlin HVLP spray equipment

. Ensure consistent quality and smooth finishes, free from drips, bubbles, or imperfections. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols for handling and disposing of materials. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making necessary touch-ups or adjustments. Operate and maintain painting equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency. Follow company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in wood finishing, cabinetry, or furniture painting. We prefer candidates who have graduated from a woodworking or cabinetry program.

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with different types of wood coatings, stains, and finishing techniques for furniture. Painting experience for homes and businesses is not the same as painting experience for furniture and cabinets.

Equipment Proficiency:

Experience using spray guns, HVLP systems, and other painting tools.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to achieve a high-quality finish with precision.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods, lift materials up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced production environment.

Team Player:

Ability to collaborate effectively with other production team members.

Safety Awareness:

Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and proper handling of chemicals and coatings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.68-$20.00 per hour
