Urban Construction Limited is seeking a reliable and skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will measure, cut, and install drywall sheets, apply finishing compounds, and ensure walls and ceilings are smooth and ready for painting or other finishes, while maintaining high-quality workmanship and following safety standards.

Education: Bachelor's Required
Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years

Job Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine drywall installation requirements.

Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings.

Prepare wall and ceiling layouts and ensure surfaces are clean and ready for installation.

Apply successive coats of joint compound, smooth seams and joints, and sand surfaces to achieve a finished appearance.

Mix plaster or compound materials to the appropriate consistency.

Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster, including finishing corners, angles, and decorative designs when required.

Cut and install metal corner beads to reinforce and protect exterior corners.

Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place ceiling panels for acoustical or coffered ceilings.

Remove excess compound, allow coats to dry, and perform final surface finishing as needed.

Key Qualifications
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads.

Good hand-eye coordination and overall physical stamina.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Dependable, reliable, and flexible with a professional work ethic.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
