Haakon Industries, a global leader in custom-designed and manufactured HVAC units, is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a Painter in the Paint Department. This team is responsible for preparing and painting air handling units to ensure a quality finish in the final stages of the manufacturing process.

Your Responsibilities:

Industrial Painting: Apply paint using HVLP spray guns and airless paint systems to achieve a quality finish on air handling units Surface Preparation: Fully prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, caulking, masking and performing dent repair as needed Equipment Maintenance: Clean, maintain and adjust paint spray guns and equipment to ensure efficient operation Spray Foam Application: Perform spray foam insulation applications within a paint booth Body Fill Applications: Perform body fill applications for dent repair to ensure smooth and finished surfaces Material Handling: Safely operate an overhead crane and forklift to handle materials as needed Independent Work: Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals Team Collaboration: Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
