Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting disciplines, including residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of projects. The Painter will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver exceptional results while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications Perform construction painting tasks on residential, commercial, or industrial sites Conduct restoration painting to refurbish and preserve existing structures Use rigging techniques to access hard-to-reach areas safely Operate various hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely during painting processes Assist with carpentry tasks as needed for surface preparation or repairs Follow schematics and technical instructions accurately for precise application Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety protocols are followed throughout the project Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, industrial, or commercial painting projects Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment Ability to perform residential painting with attention to detail Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently Skilled in caulking techniques for seamless finishes Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction Basic carpentry skills for surface preparation or minor repairs Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction and industrial environments

Pay: $15.70-$18.00 per hour
