Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both industrial and construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish on all projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and structures. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Restore surfaces by repairing damages prior to painting. Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during the painting process. Rig and build scaffolding as needed to access high areas safely. Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools are properly stored after use. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and any concerns.

Requirements

Proven experience in industrial painting or construction painting is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Strong skills in caulking and surface preparation techniques. Familiarity with hand tools used in painting applications. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Strong communication skills for effective customer service interactions. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.

Pay: $17.56-$32.59 per hour
