Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to protect and decorate surfaces.

Duties

- Prepare walls and other surfaces before painting
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection
- Remove old paint to prepare surfaces for painting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

- Experience in commercial painting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficiency in using power tools
- Knowledge of drywall repair techniques
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid WHMIS, fall protection and lift certificates are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
