Overview

We are seeking a semi skilled painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a desire to deliver quality finishing and strive to learn new skills. This role involves both commercial and residential painting projects, requiring attention to detail and a commitment to quality. The Painter will be responsible for assisting with painting tasks efficiently with direction through effective communication and demonstration.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Loading and unloading of vehicles equipment and materials. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Restore and maintain existing finishes on various structures and surfaces. Read and interpret schematics is beneficial . Utilize hand tools and rigging equipment safely to complete tasks effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.

Experience

Some experience in residential and commercial painting or related fields is neccessary. Working at heights beneficial. Whimis beneficial. Comfortable on ladders. Strong time management skills are essential. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to drive to job sites and have a reliable vehicle. Gas and travel time paid on some projects. Be able to work in all conditions. Be physically strong and able to perform a variety of tasks .
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
