Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Drywaller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and industrial painting and drywalling, of various sizes, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality finishes. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. As a Drywaller, you will be responsible for ensuring that proper drywall installations and/or repairs are made. This role requires excellent communication skills, being dependable/reliable and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Install/repair drywall, with an effective use of applying multiple coats of joint compound, drywall tapes, strapping, and sanding to ensure a smooth finish. Collaborate with manager and supervisor to understand their vision and provide exceptional customer service. Perform drywall repairs and restoration work as needed to ensure surfaces are ready for painting. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality.

Skills

Strong customer service skills to interact positively with managers and supervisors and address their needs. Experience in residential painting techniques as well as industrial painting applications. Knowledge of drywall installation and repair processes. Ability to restore surfaces to their original condition before painting. Basic carpentry skills are a plus for making necessary repairs prior to painting. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members. Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
