Job Description

Our painting team is looking for motivated individuals to join our spring/summer painting team!

We are looking for the hardest-working, most motivated students (or student-aged people) that want to be apart of a very tight-knit group of awesome people, who want to earn what they are worth. This season alone, our team will be responsible for painting 50+ homes and business, resulting in happy clients and crew members.

About the position:

• Fast paced, fun environment.
• Hands on experience in customer service and communication.
• Working outdoors with a crew of 2-3 people.
• Working with friends is encouraged, so apply together if you wish.
• All training is provided; therefore, no experience is necessary!

We are currently hiring Painters and Crew Managers for the summer of 2023. Both positions are full-time hourly summer jobs and can lead to future promotion opportunities within the company.

Specific Role Descriptions:

• Painter: This role is a fun and challenging position that is ideal for someone wanting to get hands-on work experience and make money over the summer. The ideal individual is hard working, coachable and has effective communication skills.
• Crew Manager: In addition to painting, in this role you would gain experience in leadership and would run a crew of 2-3 people. This position provides a great opportunity in learning valuable leadership skills in fun environment.

Requirements:

• Able to work full-time throughout most of the summer.
• Must have own transportation. Jobsite locations change frequently; Most projects are in Chestermere and surrounding areas, but projects may also extend out into Calgary.
• Manual labor and ladder work required.
• Able to work outdoors.

Benefits:

Starting rate is $19/hour. Raises are based on proven skill after start date.
Bonuses and incentives will depend on performance and criteria established by myself, the manager.

In addition, our painting systems allow our top painters to make upwards of 20-28$/hour, with our average painter last season making 17$/hour (dependent on province). Furthermore, all employees are fully covered under Alberta\xe2\x80\x99s Workers Compensation Board.
