Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and construction painting, demonstrating proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results that meet customer expectations.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the scope of work and materials needed. Rig and build scaffolding or ladders as required for high or difficult-to-reach areas. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project progress and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless project execution.

Experience

Proven experience in residential painting and construction painting is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and painting equipment is essential. Experience in carpentry is a plus, enhancing overall project capabilities. Strong time management skills to efficiently complete projects within deadlines. Ability to work independently while also being a team player when necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed

Construction painting: 3 years (preferred)
