POSITION SUMMARY

Work locations include numerous worksites around the Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. This position is available for an immediate start date. This will be a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, with an hourly wage rate starting at $34.62 CDN per hour. Extended health and dental benefits will be provided after 90 days.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Read specifications to determine quantities of materials required

Use a pressure washer and other cleaning tools to clean and prepare surfaces for painting

Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-blasting and steam-cleaning; remove old wallpaper and loose paint; repair cracks and holes in walls; and sandpaper and apply sealer

Safely use a ladder, scaffold or mechanical lift to access work areas

Apply patching and sealant products to prepare surfaces

Apply paint or other materials, such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish, fibreglass, metal coating or fire retardant using brushes, rollers or spray equipment
