Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and residential painting, with a strong understanding of industrial painting techniques. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to communicate effectively with clients, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to various surfaces including drywall and wood. Interpret and follow schematics and project specifications to ensure accurate application. Perform caulking and finishing work to achieve smooth and professional results. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.

Skills

Proficient in commercial painting techniques as well as residential painting skills. Experience with industrial painting processes is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Familiarity with hand tools used in painting and surface preparation. Knowledge of drywall installation and repair techniques. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to painting projects. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
