In this role, the successful candidate will thrive sandblasting and applying industrial quality paint on Viking-Cives products. Note:

Job Duties & Requirements:
- Mix, agitate, dispense finishing material.
- Clean, set up, and adjust pumps, agitators, regulators, spray guns, and wiping materials.
- Apply paint material as specified
- Blast to specified requirements. Use application processes, equipment, and materials to achieve target specifications as specified by application inspection tools, color targets, production, and verbal instruction. Adjust air and material flow control equipment.
- Review, monitor, and share feedback with appropriate parties through the process
- Set up, clean and/or replace booth filters, part carriers/sawhorses, etc.
- Maintain daily cleanliness of work area - Perform housekeeping duties which are specified as part of daily production painter activity (sweeping, wiping, discarding waste, etc).
- Read, understand, communicate, and interpret written and verbal instructions, apply manufacturer recommendations, manufacturing work instructions, and work documentation, policies, and practices, etc.
- Work cooperatively within the team to meet goals.

- Complete required documentation for time, materials used, etc.
- Produce quality product in a safe manner
- Adhere to all safety practices and report any unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment.
- Use miscellaneous shop tools. Some personal tools may be required; notify us if this is an obstacle
- Handle heavy materials manually or with overhead cranes.

Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job (lifting up to 50lbs, bending, wiping, standing) for periods of 8-12 hours
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
- Ability and desire to learn finishing techniques and technology
