Norstar prides itself in providing a market-leading product that is exceptional on every level. To do this, we need an exceptional team. We are now seeking to hire a reliable individual to join our Paint / Wash Bay Department.

In this role you will use various paint and washing equipment to properly and effectively coat and clean Norstar equipment. You will complete inspections on finished work to ensure they meet Norstar quality standards and assist the department supervisor with other general duties as required.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday - 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (4-10 hour shifts)

Responsibilities of the Job:

Including, but not limited to the following:

Operate Paint Booth and Wash Bay Equipment as assigned / required Operate Powder Coating, as well as Wet Paint Equipment as needed Maintain safe work practices Conduct Quality Inspections of their work Maintain equipment in good working condition and report maintenance and safety concerns Assist with repairs, modifications and retrofits as required Provide assist in monitoring and tracking product status Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects Sign off on completed work orders and quality of work Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology, compliance and techniques Other assigned work as required

Requirements

Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset Experience in a similar role is an asset Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy environment Strong interpersonal skills Reliable and punctual Effective communication skills (verbal and written - English) Ability to work well under pressure Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and guidance from shop leadership Ability to follow all safety protocols including wearing a respirator Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs Able and willing to work overtime as required

Pay: $35,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
